The second last episode was pretty damn depressing. George RR Martin, damn you. I heard the books were even worse.

Bloody Lord Bolton, damn nasty traitor. He's now overtaken King Joffery, has become bad guy no.1 to everybody I guess...

And put that wolf's head on Robb's headless body, WTF???

I haven't read the books but I couldn't help looking things up when I finished Season 3, House Bolton is so freaking twisted, they flay people alive, even their sigil is a flayed man, and now they're the warden of the North...

I will start watching it once I finish How I Met Your Mother. Haha. I've seen two episodes so far and it's amazing!

I tried to stay away so that I wouldn't be able to have "educated guesses" as to what would happen next in the television series, but after season three ended I couldn't help myself.

Half way through book three, and though season one stays pretty true to book one, there are some big liberties taken later on.
