I am not sure if others feel the same, but having listened to many different musical compositions of various genres, I have come to the conclusion that the only pieces worth crying along are those with a simple, slow, and, above all, beautiful melody. It might not necessarily be sad or tragic; in fact, I find it difficult to appreciate most compositions written in a Minor key signature, unless the music is played fast and contains no shortage of contrapuntal elements

Have you ever listened to the second movement of Beethoven's 8th piano sonata? It is by far the biggest tear jerker I've ever heard, not because the music is sad or gloomy, but because it has a melody that is simple and yet incredibly beautiful. It is as if heaven actually exists and someone copied the melody from there.

Pure, simple, and utterly beautiful...

the end of all things - Panic! at the Disco.

I was super sick once and lying in bed listening to panic and this song came on and I just started sobbing to myself because I thought i was dying

I know there's a number of versions of this song, but I love this one the best, Lily has the perfect voice for it.
