I agree with Nicki on the while taking care of skin first would require less makeup or no make up at all. If you take proper care of your skin it does make a difference. Its nice to know natural beauty is appreciated too.

Every once in awhile I will wear some eyeliner and smoky eyes on special occassions but its easier and less work not to wear any. lol

That is an interesting poll. Never heard of women waking up in the middle of night to freshen up more make up. . . . However, i can believe some doing it. Piling more makeup on skin and not allowing the skin to breathe and rest from it is no bueno either.

makeup should never be a deal breaker for any man unless you are over doing it. the worst thing is though most girls today need to remember not to depend on it to feel beautiful. .. for the most part makeup will come off and if you dont like the face under than help is needed. I have noticed men just like women like someone who is confident in their own skin period. love thy self so other can love you.

FYI gentlemen, all these "natural looking no makeup" girls are wearing make-up. So I think what guys mean when they say 'no makeup' is 'make up that looks natural'

No, that is not how a natural person is supposed to look.

I find all of them excruciatingly repulsive.

It's the other way around for the majority of men. Some of them said it's a turn-off if a woman wears makeup that they can't recognize her when she took it off. They want to see the woman as natural as she can be.

Professor, post some photos of what you prefer, only if you want to, because your post has me curious now of what is your type.

I can`t imagine, how is it possible for a girl to be in a relationship let`s say for a year or two and not let the boyfriend see her without make up. :S Going to sleep with makeup on and waking up extra earlier to remove the makeup and then put a new one? :weird: I mean no sane girl would sleep with makeup on, since it`s extremely unhealthy for the skin. And apart from that, it means that the couple never went to a swimming pool, aqua park, or anything water related in the whole time of the relationship :S

Honestly, I guess it depends on how quickly I spend the night with someone if they see me without makeup. I will admit my skin is quite bad due to years of excessive makeup use and I don't like to leave the house without it (and by "it" I mean regular foundation and mascara, that's it now). But I am NOT going to wake up early to put on makeup. If I like you enough to spend the night it means you will see me without makeup. If you react badly to it, then I guess it means I wouldn't be spending the night anymore and we can both move on with our lives.
