Best Thing That Happened To You Today, This Week, OR This Month

Today: Girlfriend contacted me. She generally does everyday but doesn't send too many in a day or come on too strong. Which means that I 1) never take things for granted; and 2) value it every time she contacts me.

This week: Have a handful of interviews that are relevant to my skill set. Anything to get out of this godforsaken job.

This month: Later this weekend, my friends are playing in a local soccer grand final. They were 4th in the normal season playing the 1st-placed team, so they are going in as underdogs (but last 2 weeks they beat the 3rd-placed and 2nd-placed teams). And I'm hoping that they win of course!

I thought everyone has a smartphone these days  .

ha~! this is true... i lift in the middle of the night/morning. finding people and willing people to record me are 2 separate battles i don't have time for. i haven't yet figured out how to "stand/position" my phone properly without it sliding to the floor.

Dumbells, water bottles for your smart phone to lean on.
Problem solved

In the tech section accidentally or not, this topic is refreshing to read and contribute to. So glad so many people have things to add to it.

Earlier today, I saved my friend and her family's lives from hunger by texting the # from Mabsia.org (Soup Kitchen Network in New York ) serving free meals for hungry people. They also do deliveries. :woohoo: Since she told me she didn't have wifi at her home so I use my phone to look up any soup kitchen networks in New York. I've been there for my friend and giving her advice on how to get over her anxiety and cheer her up. She told me that I was the only female friend that was there for her.

I purchased Lucien Febvre and Henri-Jean Martin's book The Coming of the Book: The Impact of Printing, 1450-1800 , Arthur Hirsh's The French Left: A History and Overview, and Benedict de Spinoza's A Theologico-Political Treatise / A Political Treatise and On the Improvement of the Understanding / The Ethics / Correspondence, for very cheap price in local used bookstore. :woohoo:
