what i've been hearing about lately:

ok, there is a lot of "casting couch" stuff going on in hollywood and in the fashion modelling world for the women, things about sexual abuse, but even the male actors have to make decisions on whether or not to lower themselves in order to go along with the corruption there.

instead of having to deal with the casting couch, two male Oscar winners were offered parts early on in their careers that would have been demeaning to their race. both of them spoke of financial troubles they had at the time and were in desperate need of money. one of them even had children to feed. even many years later when he became an elderly man, he teared up over the stress of it all. well, both of them turned down the parts despite needing money at the time, and guess what?! soon after that, the universe opened up a window for them and gave them parts that catapulted the rest of their careers, and they became leaders for their race. Denzel Washington and Sidney Poitier.

because they waited and said no to what was harmful to them, they received what was meant for them.

it's very hard to do sometimes, but saying no and finding an opportunity somewhere else is very important to remember. it's all part of not letting the external world hold the bargaining chips. their success was not dependent on those people. they, themselves, were going to be the ones to succeed. it's all about letting go of things you want and moving on with your life. then you'll receive the desires of your heart.

Feeling inspired this month. Told my boss I will increase sales by 67% by the end of this month. It's look good. I might hit above 50% or higher. I started to doubt myself for having such a ridiculous goal to begin with, but looks like I'm a wizard! He might semi-retire so I might have to take over the business and manage it while he vacations for as long as he wants in Thailand (ex-patriot style).

Was walking down Santa Monica and saw a homeless person and a feeling struck me of wanting to help him out. Gave him all the cash I was holding in my wallet. All 111$. Ironically, my friends and I walked past a book in front of Barnes and Nobles titled "Your money, or your life." It's good to know money does not control me.

I'm starting a new business soon that involves the video game industry and MORE. The more part is to help my fellow mankind find what motivates them in their lives to push themselves beyond their comfort zone and improve their everyday lives. I know what it feels to not be able to keep focus, motivated, and inspired. Depression is a real enemy and many of us have to battle through it in our everyday lives.

So many things going on with my life, and not enough time. I'm literally sleeping 4-6 hours a night and I'm thankful that my body allows me to keep up with it all without breaking down or getting sick. Thank you to all the little cells in my body for working so hard to help me keep going.
