i think... wait a second here...

I went to a dinner than a video game bar with some friends. After we all hung out at the beach and the downtown areas and listened to music. A tad bit later we all decided to hang out at the near bye park and play in the playgrounds.

saw BTS last night. will hopefully see them again tonight. will soon buy a chocolate dipped ice cream cone for lunch, lol.

lol, this was the best part (song title Cypher 4), but it's tied with the song Begin, which is so beautiful.

I met my best friend's favorite professor this past Saturday. She and her husband were the most welcoming hosts. She's in her 60s, and he's in his 80s, but they were full of energy and stories and wisdom and just a general sense of welcomeness. I made and kept conversation up with them really easily, which I attribute to their own eagerness to listen than my own social skills; I'm notoriously terrible around new people.

They had a beautiful home and were so excited to show off the new deck they'd been building and all of the artwork they'd collected over the years. It made me think about what it takes to get to that point in your life, where you have this trail of happiness behind you that's evident in the every decoration with a story that makes it on your walls, the pictures of your children and grandchildren you share with strangers, and the budding accomplishments you continue to make even when you're an 80 year old man waking up at 8 o'clock to dig holes in your back yard.

I admire them. And I admire my friend for finding these people in her life. It was so nice to see.

A week or two ago, I registered my own business. Boy I feel important now!

Visit Vietnam and its surroundings, basically travel overseas and have a ball with family and peeps

landed position closer to other half. moving on thursday.

a bit disappointed as they tell me i'm going to lose lots of my skills i've acquired in the hospital setting.. too young in my career to stop bedside-care but state benefits and pay are unparalleled.

probably last time i'm going to resurrect myself on hey-ai. LoL~!

i was listening to the radio on the way home from grocery shopping, and the DJ played a small speech to his listeners, saying (paraphrasing) "seize the day and make your dreams come true, it's never too late." lol, how cool to have an enlightened person on the radio who didn't have to say those things but felt like saying them anyway. he's using his platform to spread good news and good cheer. how amazing!
