What did you make today?

Not today, but a couple of days ago, I made my first attempt of Chocolate Pie.
I spent a lot of time searching before getting to make it. & it's really far from perfect... Because, you know, ordinary untalented people like me need to learn much & work really hard to get to something remotely decent.
But next one will be better, I guess.

Baked salmon with a homemade pico de gallo over buttered zucchini and yellow squash noodles. Half baked ice cream for dessert

Today, I wanted to use the leftover dough from previous baking to make another --smaller-- pie. Yet, altough I reduced the quantity, I was left with too much chocolate ganache... So, instead of wasting it, I improvised a random cake by adding flour, sweetener, a bit of almond powder & lots of chocolate chunks. Once, it spent some time in the oven, the outcome is something in between cookie & brownie as for texture... I guess it's a CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH NO NAME.
Cause, --anyway, wasting food totally sucks, doesn't it?

Macaroni noodles with ground beef and mixed vegetables in a miso tom yum broth

Shallow poached halibut in a Thai curry miso broth with shrimp and scallops ontop a bed of sauteed zucchini and yellow squash noodles. Broth was also made with royal trumpet mushrooms, shittake mushrooms and blue oyster mushrooms
