Ok, so this is what I wanted to find earlier on in the day.





We may be more connected to people we perceive to be our foes than we imagine. Our perspectives dictates our perception of reality, but it's up to us to choose to keep our eyes open to see these things. It's why I'm eager to find new experiences and perspectives. We might not have to accept it, but new perspectives has shook up this man and woman in the video, and it may ripple onward towards something even more positive as a result.

Stuff like this blows my mind.

I'm very much part of the group of people who believes that in life we encounter people for a reason. Sometimes the reasons for the encounter is big, sometimes it's small. It's rare to really recognize that reason for what it truly is until hindsight from the passage of time reveals the true purpose to us.

So it's important, at least for people like me, to treat each encounter genuinely and sincerely. When it comes time for me and a person I've met to part ways again, I generally hope I've done some good so a positive fragment of me goes with them as they continue on their journey.



I'm not amazing with understanding Mandarin or Japanese. Growing up in Canada, I didn't have much contact with my own culture. After quite a few sour experiences as well as the Western perceived stereotypes, I actually found myself running away from the culture entirely. It's only in the last few years that I started to reconnect. Music was a big part of that. So imagine my surprise when I found a music that seems to align with my own beliefs. Of course, there's also a good chance I've completely misunderstood the meaning of the lyrics due to my weak proficiency in the language.

I hope you all like it as much as I do for the meaning behind the lyrics!

Today I learned that one must respect ideals, condition, culture and others of other people. Starting with a good action every day helps to have a better society wherever you are.
