Yeah, please enlighten us. Like essential workers don’t already know and do all these things.

We need robot nurses and doctors more than robot soldiers. Unfortunately, our government prioritizes killing people over saving them.

I too work in a hospital but its a mental institution. We screen both in coming patients and employees. And yes, i firmly believe that the health care workers should have access to PPEs. But the reality is that they are in high demand all over the world. And in some places a shortage of PPEs. Hence, why volunteers are making PPEs but they are not the most effective like N95s. I sure there are others besides washing hands, wearing gloves and social distancing that work but they have yet to be mentioned or thought of by the CDC and WHO. However, its going to spread. Its just nature taking its course. We're like a sitting deer population. And i dont mean to sound cruel or unkind. But truth is thats our reality at this moment.

I definitely see your point. We work hard and do what we have to do with that we have but at the end of the day they still need staff so they all of a sudden become less strict with the rules, that doesn’t help the staff one bit.

CDC ain't trying to help us healthcare workers, they keep changing/downgrading their standards due to supply. I'm just grateful my place allows us to bring in our own masks if we have them. Other than that, we are allowed one mask a shift.

x1000

from full hazmat suit down to a mother fu*cking piece of paper across my mouth/nose. And a pair of glasses. LoL.

My hospital has the same policy. I managed to source some masks at 10x mark up. In the grand scheme of things, a couple hundred dollars isn’t too bad when you have to protect your children.
