On genocide in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina that Serbian forces did on Bosnian men and boys while UN was supposed to protect them:
Thousands of men executed and buried in mass graves, hundreds of men buried alive, men and women mutilated and slaughtered, children killed before their mothers' eyes, a grandfather forced to eat the liver of his own grandson. These are truly scenes from hell, written on the darkest pages of human history.

May all of 8327 innocent people who were slaughtered in that area rest in peace.

Wasn't much different in Croatia. Brothers/cousins had to fight against each other, families were torn apart (which partly consisted of both sides), thousands of people found in mass graves, thousands still missing.
War is always affecting the "regular" innocent people the most. It just seems like no one (from the higher ups) cares.
