speed dating event in australia

just want to ask if it is suitable for me to join in the local speed dating event in australia.

i have been a few, i found i am the only few asian men in the speed dating event. most of them are white. they might think i am so strange.or laugh at me

have any of your guys have join in this kind of event and had success?

i had talked to some ladies there. they are usually quite friendly and nice to me, but i feel hard to move forward.

I have a chinese friend in Australia who keeps saying this to me: SHOW CONFIDENCE. if he can make white females change their looks on asian men and date them, I am sure you can too... I think it all comes down to confidence and humor tbh. If I was SPEED dating, these would be the top two qualities to go for.

do you find a bit weird to see a chinese man suddenly join in a speed dating event where most of people are white?

i tried a few times, never been successful getting a number from the girls there, i always feel people are not interested in me.

should i ask girls for numbers always and see if they will reject to give to me?

Aussie is not really a violent country in contrast to the US. The living cost is higher.. And it has a better living quality..

Iam not.sure about the dating events there...there are always good and bad people everywhere.
But in related to the pandemic.covid today ...the anti asian sentiment rises up extremely in Aussie as well as in the USA. POLITICALLY AUSSIE HAS A BAD RELATION WITH CHINA NOW..

depends on how your humour is from before, me for example got a very wide variety of humour, thats a mix between sarcastic, dark, stupid and includes a looooot of puns... makes me who i am
