Also, in retrospect ... yo obviously have confused the words "bar" and "club". Yes honey, NYers and urbanites in America can go to bars at any age...even married 40 somethings go to bars in NY...it's common... just watch "Sex and the City" to generally understand a Hollywood version of it. And if they want to go to clubs too, so be it! I still visit some of the old haunts now and again with my girls for the chuckles and I almost won the costume contest this past Halloween. Don't be ageist...I'm not sitting around knitting

Pretty much the same thing, clubs, bars, whatever. Naw by 40 you shouldn't waste your money on alcohol, that's over price. I am into cycling all year round. Now I have disk breaks I only ride in non snow, non icy and non icy conditions because the pads only lasts about 200 miles.

In Canada alcohol is more expensive. I rather make my own wine or hard cider. It's not hard to make.

I havent been on this site in years too...and by happenstance was just curious to revisit and see how things have changed.

Previously, I attended a Sydney meetup and I thought it went well. I might look very heavily bearded now, but back then I was babyface, shy and quiet... but everyone in that meetup was quite friendly to me (Both guys and girls). But I think I agree with the idea of too many people popping in and out... didn't like that. And although the meetup was awkward, I don't really regret going to it.
