Which do you prefer....piercings or tattoos..?

tattoss are very unique just as the person who has them. they can tell you thats persons life story or what matters most to that person^.^ I have small six pawprints going up my right ankle^.^! I love all animals espically bunnies and kitties:D and those pawprints on my ankle are actual life size pawprints of my pet bunny bunny max XD! he's a lion head rabbit( so it looks like he has a lions mane on him^.^! I also volunteer at a no kill shelter( been there four yrs and work directly with the cats and kittens) and ocanisally dogs or puppiesXD!

I love tattoos but I only have 4, currently in love with woodcut renaissance illustrations, so that's the theme for my arms. A lot of people on this thread talk about old age with tattoos, to me its doesn't really bother so much plus I don't really think i'd want to be 80 :c

... dunno mate probably grow an epic beard and hang out with other badass tattooed dudes and generally look awesome xD... What are you going to do when you look like every other old bastard?

What annoys me personally, is that some people let is show how they think or feel about someone they mostly do not know when this person has tattoo's. Or just treat the person different

Bias is more emotional than anything. Physical appearance is the easiest measure for people to react upon, for better or worse.

I don't have a preference. Tattoos are more personal, for me anyway. Piercings are easier to remove... unless you've got big stretched out holes. You should give it some serious thought before getting a tattoo. Do some research on artists. Make sure they can spell and have some grasp of grammar!

I don't mind either one, although there are some Places I feel that just shouldn't be pierced on guys lol. But I won't judge, I love self expression

Yeah... ouch!

Self expression is wonderful. But there should be some forethought, especially when getting tattoo. Chest piece's are really popular at the moment, with both men and women getting them. Some look brilliant and will continue to do so. But fashion and feelings change. When you are a teenager, rebelling against the world... having "F**k You" drawn across your chest might seem like a good idea. But when you are a mum in your 40's going to your kids parent's evening... you may feel a bit different.

I've always thought having someone's name tattooed on yourself is stupid.
Like this lady... Someone's stage name in a chest piece? I'd certainly avoid her. Just for showing really poor taste in tattoos and music!
