What language do you want to learn?

How interesting! It barely sounds like Korean at all in some parts. Must've been heavily influenced by Russian and Kazakh.

I've always been interested in other languages and cultures, so my "languages I want to learn" list is pretty long. I'm going back to school for linguistics in the fall (hopefully school still exists then lol). My interest in different languages waxes and wanes, but the top 3 that I always come back to are Spanish, Korean and Japanese. Spanish is practical and a no-brainer, but it's also beautiful and fun. I really have no excuse not to be fluent in it at this point, learning it since middle school and living in America. It's just a matter of committing to it. Like with all languages, I can understand a lot more than I can speak.
I also think Korean and Japanese are beautiful and interesting, if not as practical for me as Spanish. Pretty much if I know someone that speaks another language, I'll want to learn something from them. I've learned some Vietnamese from a friend (really just a few words and phrases), but that shit's hard. Not just the tones but the pronunciation in general.

I have a lot of interest in different writing systems, historical languages, endangered languages. There are some languages I'm not as interested in but I would still be down to learn a few words or phrases of anything.

Italian, Croatian, Polish, Hungarian.
