fake profiles, spam, etc.

Here's a word of advice... if their profile picture is of a duck, or cookie monster, or something equally as super awesome-- it's likely not a real photo.

Other than that - ask for a pic of the person holding up a sign, or doing something ridiculous. Almost all phones have cameras nowadays - so unless they're super broke and living in 2001, then it shouldn't be to hard to get.

Another word of advice -- if you're not super sexual with anyone, it doesn't matter if they're a chick or a dude. Refrain from using the internet as a dating service/for pr0n and you should be able to avoid the necessity of knowing the other user's gender ^.^

I dont check profile in general - just wonderding as your camera angle in your pic clearly hides the adams apple region

in general, the more photos u see, the more likely it's real.
also, if those photos r life related with their friends in them or not so much studio quality, it's more likely to b real.
u have to talk to them to tell if it's real. if s/he interacts a lot with other ppl on the site, it's more likely to b real.
if s/he gives u the phone number instead of just msn or skype, it's more like to b real.
if u've been on cam with him/her, it may also add to some credibility.
if u've met the person, it's about 95% this person is real.

to OP:

I find that the real profiles are the girls that I add and they actually talk about stuff...fake accounts cant keep it up for that long...(unless they are GAY or mentally disturbed.)

Fake profiles are the ones where u add them and they respond with one or two word answers...(..or may be the ones that are like this arent great conversationalist anyways...u dont need to waste ur time..)

in any event there is another type of fake profile anyways...the girls that have these really nice photoes of themselves...but then over time u realise they are fat. I hate girls like that the most...

If in doubt use google images...

If you think a profile is fake use the moderation tab on the suspect profile page to send a report to the admin team.

Always remember if something looks too good to be true... It often is.

no seriously, i think we should be happy if there are any photos at all. i think a lot of ppl don't want to let the whole world know how they look like.
i think like half of all members here dont have a real photo, do they?

and if ppl get serious with each other they will find out sooner or later how they look like, and also might find out if a perosn is a transvestite hehe

Yes, that's true, the size of photo upload is very limited and most digital camera produce the pictures over the size limit.
