fake profiles, spam, etc.

i just dont like fake. recently there was a fake with greg slaughter pics and datas here. that one didnt use only pics, he fed other ppl with lies and infos from greg. that pissed me off.
i am maybe to fast, maybe that user will change the pic one day.

yeah I don't see the sense in using a fake picture either (unless it's obvious like e.g. a cartoon character or something). and it's a good thing to stay cautious about it

Hey! i use a cartoon character as a profile pic! but then again, its a cartoon version of me. muhuhuhahahaahahaa...cough....haaa...sigh.

The fake image is still producing profile hits and comments. People either want to believe it's real or are checking out the faker. When I see an obviously fake profile photo I imagine they have dubious motives. Like scamming.

We don't have a rule that forbids using other peoples pics, only one that you have to specify it in your profile.
Said profile was contacted by the admins already but we usually give people a week to respond if we don't see them doing major harm to the site.

I don't have any problem with people using pictures of musicians or actors when it obviously isn't them. I do have a problem when people put up photos of random models and try to pass them off as themselves. Which is what I believe the creator of this profile is doing /cb-profile/userprofile/Sukiyaki

And I don't believe most of the guys saying 'damn you're gorgeous' on that profiles wall, have bothered to read down as far as "Does your profile picture show yourself or another person: Someone or something else" Maybe that needs moving up to the top of the page next to the photo.

Are some of the fake profiles set up as a sort of IQ test?

If you fall for this you must be as dumb a rock and are to be avoided at all costs... that kinda thing?

I had one who wanted my facebook.......I told him I don't feel comfortable because I dont know him, and he said my theory was wrong. He said it was more personal, and he didnt realized that is why i refused...like..duuuuuh.
