My favourite topic so far ,because I always have problems with finding a guy that is taller than me :).The last guy I dated was few inches shorter than me;I didn't have a problem with that but he did.He didn't like it when I wore high heels because he felt inferior.
If I could choose I would like my guy to be the same height as I am or possibly a little bit taller,so I can sometimes wear high heels :)
The interesting thing is that the guys I dated who where shorter than me always said that my height doesn't matter but it always bothered them in the end  .
I think maybe it has something to do with an old stereotype that women are weaker and men are stronger, and stronger are supposed to protect weaker, and it is hard to protect a girl who is so much taller than her guy.
then again,I think it's all about the confidence...If you are a great person you don't need to be extremely tall to prove it to yourself or others around you.

I definitely couldn't be with someone much much shorter than me,obviously because of the practical reasons B) ,but a little bit shorter is just fine with me.And I'd like to find a guy who doesn't mind being shorter than me when I wear high heels :P

finally someone with my problem haha....well, I don't mind if he is 170, but let's say 168 is really a problem for me, coz the difference is already too great. not because he is not masculine, but because I feel like a giant then. it already bothers me that absolutely all my friends are so much smaller and just look more petite.
do you know the actor seth green? he is really small and married to some model. srly, it looks like she is his babysitter when they hold hands

I totally agree with you! And what about Slavica and Bernie Ecclestone?!?Difference in their height is soooo big that some evil people might say:if it wasn't for the money....
But I like it when I walk down the street and see all kinds of different couples...different height,color,size...if we were all same, this world would be one big boring place :)

I won't be bothered. I can stand on a curb or bring a stool and be next to you.

ok this one is really extreme and just not believable anymore. I still prefer taller guys, but because of the society and all, just feels nicer than you hug one. but true, I have seen such couples a few times...sometimes it's cute, sometimes it is just not working for me. but well, as long as they are happy :P

I never thougt 1,71m (what i am ^^) is very tall... but for asian guys it is sometimes difficult. but not in my mind. some cm are okay, but more than 15 cm? hm, time to think it over ^^ but i never wore high shoes. only if there's an event or something. ^^

Height doesn't matter when you're horizontal.
