Question for tall girls 170cm and above

Am I allowed to chime in? 5'3 male without shoes, living in California.

I personally don't mind what height the girl is. And my height has never been a problem for anyone. I've noticed that when the person with the supposed height issue doesn't have a problem with it, their date won't either.

I've seen plenty of taller girls I wouldn't mind getting to know, but I have to respect the overall preference for taller men. With that said, there ARE more women than you think who would go out with a guy shorter then them. I've been pursued by them anyways, but take that with a grain of salt. At my height, most females in the bay area are taller than me!

If you see short men having a problem with their own height, it's mostly just them trying to find a reason why girls would reject them. If they were tall, they'd just find another reason to hate.

The vast majority of women do not date men shorter than them, it is just their natural mating instinct. Though some white women will make an exception for a shorter white guy if he is good looking enough a shorter Asian guy to them would be a comedic joke.

mad props to you bro.. i mean it really. im not considered short but one time i had a dream in which i was short.. boy that was quite weird and .. i was super glad when i woke up.. i imagine it can be quite rough for some of the shorter guys. but if you dont let it get to you then you're on the right path.

...and yet.... somehow.... I married one shorter than me...

SIGH!!! I love him tones... and I can say that height does not matter till I am blue in the face... but in my heart of heats....I think it does bother me. I know because I avoid heels!
And when I do wear heals I dont feel good next to him.. I feel big and fat and people give us funny looks. Sigh... pleasing this superficial society that we live in is so damn difficult!

As for him..I think it bothers him as well because although he ALWAYS says that he does not care about our height difference...and that I can wear heels if I want...(of course I am most welcome to wear them to bed anytime hehehe) but...when I decide to slap on a pair of heels...he asks me if I am really going to wear that...tries to convinve me to wear sandals ....even when we are going to a play or something fancy

...sigh and the thing that really got me one day was that we saw a couple with a huge height difference one day and he was like oh it looks like Tom Cruise and that must be his hooker.

I think the most important thing to remember here is that you are happily married and in love which to me is the most beautiful thing in the world. I think maybe talking to your husband about this might lead to a compromise that would allow either of you to dress the way you want without worry? I think there are more important things in a marriage to worry about than something as trivial as wearing heels.

About half the Caucasian girls I've seen here have been around my height or taller than me too but that doesn't put me off at all, we can't dictate how tall we want to be when we grow up anyway. How I wish I was taller...

im 183cm tall so this is not really a problem for me
but i would love to date someone whos even taller than me if shes the right one, i just dont care
