Most people arent experienced enough to understand that being loved and loving others is limitless. Most are bound by their insecurities and through pride dont know how to grow past jealousy and ownership, expectations and wants. Most see other people as opportunities to fulfill themselves. Either they have what they want or not. Most people are selfish in this way. Judge themselves and their value and worth through others.

Once you start to love people unconditionally you start to understand that relationships, platonic, romantic, or sexual, are not about holding on to people but about letting them be free. About giving and supporting, not taking and needing. And not about fitting into definition but rather about discovering how infinite the ways of love and caring about someone can be.

yes Ive seen alot of couple started from friendships and later on getting out of friendzone and move in together ~or after breakup still keep in touch~ I dont think ppl can get into relationship without getting to know each other first~ maybe its just me but i think it would be weird so yes men and women can be just friends but not permanently

Absolutely. One of my best friends is male, for 5 years. And I have quite a lot of male friends, just friends, nothing more.

on a serious note based on when harry met sally, it seems guys and girls can't actually be real friends....

of course nearly all my friends are guys and they treat me like one of them never ponce made me feel uncomfortable or tried to hit on me. well one has but the rest no. we've all been friends for like a decade at least
