From other countries I like Crematory, Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Baal, Kovenant... for example

Eh, I think it's becoming more/too mainstream or acceptable these days. Some of the least likely people I've met consider themselves metal heads, and I try not to judge based on stereotypes or image. Part of me likes that its becoming more widely accepted as a music genre but the other part of me dislikes all the weenie metal being thrust into the top 100 charts these days. Just my opinion.

- Dillinger Escape Plan
- Red Fang

Yeah to me that is the "real" Nightwish, and the only time Ive seen them live was when they were still with Tarja.

I got lost going through bands on this site, they've got every band on there, even my buddy's band(Durva). Here's one I liked in particular.

Ostura- Ashes of the Reborn

Oh geez, Cradle of Filth is awesome. Young Dani Filth was such a cutiepie. I even cosplayed him.

I saw COF live here in Finland once, but it was kind of a dissapointment; it was an outdoor gig, the sun was shining and the birds were singing, and I swear a literal butterfly flew in front of my face during the show. Kinda didn't fit the music and mood that it would have required. Also, it was not very comfortable to wear PVC while being sunbaked. Its like swimming in ur own sweat inside a plastic bag.

I used to listen to a lot of metal but now I've just been listening to more mellow artists like Within Temptation and HIM, I love my European metal bands!
I really need to see them both live!
