Beside W.A. Mozart, Georges Bizet is the other non-Italian opera composer who I like very much. He is most known for his opera composition of Carmen. It's also known that when German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche finally turned away from Richard Wagner, it was Bizet's Carmen that he discovered as better alternative. Here are couple of pieces from Carmen.
