I dislike horror movies they are too scary, but at times I would like to watch one as long as I am not watching it at night alone, in day time alone is alright.
Movies that I think are scary for me are "The Descent" 2005, about girls in a cave and "Shutter Island" (2010). Japanese movies are scarier. I seen like Scream, Final destination they are funny not scary, and like Wrong turn, Saw (this movie makes me sick) and etc. What do you guys think?

Asian horror movies MESS WITH YOUR HEAD. Some blood is used but it's not overly graphic, as well as any guts used.
Thats true, asian horror movies don't really use the same pop-up scare tactics as most american horror films do. They tend to rely more on creepy atmosphere than anything else. But you guys love being scared outta your wits? I enjoyed The Ring more than Ringu, to be honest. It's also romantic if you have a partner next to you.

Same here, I only watch horror movies when I'm with a friend or someone, otherwise I'll have nightmares for the rest of the night. Shutter Island is more of a thriller, wasn't it? I heard The Descent really got to the nerves of claustrophobics.
And for those who watched Final Destination 3, you might understand why my friend has a fear of tanning booths

I also didn't really watch the Omen or Ghost Train, but I might check it out on Netflix.

I think it's much more fun to watch horror movies with friends than alone ^^
