Horror movies, anyone?

Is it weird that I find horror movies funny....?

no i think it isnt weird because sometimes they are really funny ....at one scene in Saw 4 i get an laughing flash xD

I couldn't stop laughing at scream 4....if it even considered as a horror movie...

I quite like horror movies. There's a big difference between a good horror movie and a really crappy one though, the good ones are really good at building up the suspense and atmosphere, whereas with bad ones, you can just tell what's going to happen, they're so bad that they're funny and they make me want to facepalm. There are also a lot of *horror* movies, i.e. snuff films that seem to think that overusing gore will make them scary. E.g. The Final Destination movies have a lot more gore than any of the Ju-On: The Grudge movies, and aren't anywhere near as scary. Still, the fact that I find it hard to come by many good horror movies makes me appreciate a good horror movie more. It's just a shame that once you watch one, it's not as scary and not quite the same the next time you watch it (though I guess that's the same with other movies to an extent). Also, in my experience, the good horror movies are the ones that are surreal in a way that make you think that what happens in them could happen IRL, even though you know that those things wouldn't happen.

I like certain "horror" movie. But, my favourite "horror" movie is not for everyone.

i like only good horror movies because the movies where is only a lot of blood dont make me scary but i think movies like "The Fourth Kind" are really cool and scary because they make you think about what was happened in these movie *___*
