Hey-Ai Cooking challenge

Rules
1. Prepare a meal that the poster above you suggested.
2. Make a few pictures of how you prepared (so we know you didn't just bought it from somewhere ) it and post the result along with your username,
3. Upload the pictures on Hey-Ai and say what you have prepared.
4. Suggest for the next user two meals: An Asian and a Non-Asian meal so people have a choice on what they want to prepare

You're doing it wrong.

I tried to make the pancakes (hotteok):

Preparation (I didn't have any sticky rice flour, so I made it myself):











Very delicious!

My suggestions:
Asian meal: Chinese dumplings
Non-asian meal: Lasagna

quite amazing to see people make the effort to do these

So it's a snow day (another one)....and the kids requested Doenjang Jjigae. (No tofu in ours, just potatoes, zucchinni, mushrooms, green onions, bone broth and the bean paste)

We also had a batch of Carrot/Radish Kimchee finish *fermenting* last night...so it was the "side".

As the soup was finishing they asked, "What about Scallion Pancakes?" (Pajeon, the savory Korean pancake. The poster above covered the sweet version) I remembered the challenge for Korean pancakes and took some shots.

The lil monster helped with everything, but failed at her attempt to do one solo. (Too much batter = failed flip)....there may have been a few tears, but it tasted fine.

















As for the challenge:

I'm out of GF Flour, so no Pizza from me. (I used a GF pancake mix for the scallion pancakes)
Soooo...for the challenge, I'll keep what's already been posted:

Non Asian: Pizza/Lasagna (Pick one)
Asian: Dumplings

Son wanted pizza. Win win hahaa
