 ... hmmm
If I may point out something: the principle of the Tatin cooking is to put the fruit pieces UNDER the paste.
Hence your pie, tough tasty looking, is not a Tarte Tatin. Sorry.

That's basically correct!

You have the choice between:
Asian dish: Bánh xèo or
Non-Asian dish: Italian Wedding Soup

Kudos to you if you are up to the challenge!

can i still make the báhn xèo or no? I might have to alter it a bit bc of the turmeric (I swear I'm the only indian person alive allergic to turmeric...it's in ALL our cooking)

I have tried multiple times to post this, and my last post was my favorite...but i will just post my pics instead this time....

The dish i chose was the Italian Wedding Soup.

This is my ingredients

this is when i made the meat balls

This is the broth i made

This is the soup cooking. I had to split it because the pot was too small.

So i made one with manicotti

And one with egg (because there were two versions of the recipe

I mixed them together in a bigger pot and then served it with parmesean on top

My non Asian dish is homemade vanilla ice cream
My Asian dish is báhn xèo (because i know nikki wanted to make it)

I hope it posts this time

Yes i did. In my family, cooking is a labor of love. You put your heart in every dish you make. My family really liked it, so i want to say thanks for recommending it. They said that it is something i need to keep in my arsenal of recipes XD
