it really depends on you two working it as it goes---but it may be easier to just be friends for awhile and keep in touch. If someone else comes along, don't simply push it away, however also don't go after her if you are still too emotionally-attached---just become friends for the first while. It is far more stressful to try and hold something like that, and hold out on other people(your life) around you, than it is to let it go it's own way

It's the right choice for her future. She shows a lot of maturity on this one and well thought out process. If she had stay and made you wait, it would not be fair to you and she doesn't want to go through that or put you through that. You just have to let this one go. This is much more than just a long distance thing now, and nearly impossible to manage. There's always friendship and a glimmer of hope, but don't put heart on it.
