Good ways to meet new people?

well, base on my experiences with and booze and people

when *slightly* inebriated all pretentiousness people have greatly diminishes and what's left is the real you


booze just makes everything alot more fun

1) Reduce time on the computer. Meeting new people is a highly time-consuming task. Not in the actual minutes you are talking, but the mental effort required. Getting your attitude right and being ready for social situations, is severely pissed on by spending much time on the internet or resolving to some other technological indulgence.

2) Start talking to people you can't disappoint. I.e Customer service. I've worked in customer service in the past, a lot of you have as a teenager too. Do you know how boring it is standing, going through the same orders repeatedly?? How does it feel when all of a sudden somebody smiles, looks you in the eyes (for more than a split seconds) and says something that isn't related to your job? Feels good doesn't it. Reduces your boredom, even if they saying something stupid or talking about the weather, you are glad they are talking to you. This leads on to the next point...

3) Look people in the eyes, and smile when you're talking to them. So important. Not doing so is equivalent of a non-verbal "who the f**k are you?" and they will not bother talking to you anymore unless you are super attractive. Also try to be mellow, calm and think about what you say (don't be afraid about what you say though), and shake their hand if it is the first time you meet them. Pretty simple steps that everybody knows how to do, but a lot forget to do it.

4) It's all about repetition and routine. The more you act "sociably" the more easy it is to be that way, and the more likely people will want to approach you first as they see that you are a nice approachable dude and not some anti-social weirdo.

humm i think a good way to meet new people is to be you're self and go outside,start a random conversation with someone be nice etc. or go to a party or a club and dont be too shy have some confidence on you!

just start a random conversation with people you would like to know weird but it works

stop sitting at home and go out more often

1) a job
2) volunteering
3) community events (fairs, concerts, etc.)
4) clubs (if you're in school)
5) public spaces (parks, beaches, libraries, the mall, etc.)
6) classes (college, high school, adult, cooking, art, etc.)

invent new religion and start a cult... size of new cult dependent and level of creativity and salesmanship... good luck! and may zorgon the destroyer protect you..
