Tell me something you recently found beautiful.

I recently found an old photo of my mother father and I when I was five, it was beautiful to see them so happy.

I want to thank everyone for your entries. It has lifted my spirits. I left this site for a good while. I had found a girl I felt was worth starting something with and dropped everything. It's a bad habit of mine to just get up and go without a word. My friends tell me I go awol a lot. I'm a drifter aha I drift to wherever peaks my intrigue and focus only on that. Anyway, we rushed things and I realized we both needed to grow up a bit. So things ended. I'm dedicating this year to growth. I hope I achieve the goals I have set up for myself.

you're an awoller type. does that mean you can also go months or even years without speaking to people? i'm guessing you have to use that time to recharge because you like the quiet? i may be completely wrong. i'm the type that likes the quiet & prefers to focus on my hobbies only. then, eventually, i crave socializing, then have to go back in my hobbit hole again because it feels more cozy (and fun!).

I think years is way to much for me, but months is a more plausible thing.
I like big social environments and small alone or more one and one type situations. I don't want to keep doing one or the other constantly. I like it 50/50. At a party I might occasionally step out to be alone if nothing or no one anchors my intrigue. When alone I might try to meet or call someone for good company and conversation.

i see. i have a bad habit of doing too much of one or the other. and when i try to divide it up a little more, i get upset & just want the alone time until i'm ready to socialize.

people at work think i'm lonely because i don't go out, but this is a small town & incredibly boring. going out to me means visiting a big city or going on vacation somewhere where i know i won't be bored, which is why i'm moving somewhere better in the near future.
