The front desk clerk at the hotel I'm staying at. I stay up longer then I should talking to her for the last three nights until she gets off work at 11 then walk her to her car. Which is bad since I'm on a business trip and wake up at 4:50 in the morning to work 10-12 hours

The blue sky. Not everyone gets to see it. Some leave the Earth before their chance, others are forced to stay inside or they just work too much. But when you take the time to notice how simply blue it is... It;s the most beautiful and amazing.

I hereby present you the true superior species.
Bow to the unequaled microscopic and macroscopic beauty of phytoplankton, more specifically, diatoms.
In the XIXth century, some extravaggant scientists demonstrated there's no boundary between arts and science by inventing contests of harmonious assembling of diatoms. (One could argue we have contests to mow poodles into perfect squares nowadays.)

just yesterday, i was watching a youtube video of a young teen who has autism. he was in a session with a behavioral interventionist when he started clapping and smiling in excitement after successfully responding to a verbal prompt. i couldn't help but smile when i saw that. i thought it was beautiful.
