If you love him fight for him and hopefully they will fight back for you. If he does not fight back for you, it means he does not want it enough. It might hurt when you find the truth . If you continue to fight for him even though he does not do the same you will hurt yourself. You must realize that you also deserve better. There must be a reason why you're not together anymore.
Accept it and move on, don't fall back to something that didn't work just to not be lonely.
Cause there are very high chances it will end AGAIN and before you realize it you are stuck in an on-off-relationship.
