On Wednesday (January 6th) On Debate Day which is the competition from the Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow from YMCA youth programs. There are 2 teams are competing eachother Jamaica & Bushwick vs. Bronx & Sunset (these are the locations in New York). The competition is about the mock trial and speeches. My Jamaica & Bushwick team had won the competition. Each participants had the certificates for public speaking. I already made a speech against animal testing. I hope I can find the videos on YouTube so I show the link.
Then on Friday (January 8th) I was certified as a Microsoft Office Word Specialist.

.....I found out that a guy i've been playing soccer with for over a year is able to speak Vietnamese. He told me to take the secret to the grave though!

i decided to drop my cable service (to save money) which is like ripping a pacifier from my face even though most of my favorite shows can be seen online. well, my "send-off" was an airing of the movie Apocalypto where the last words the father says to his son before he is murdered are "don't be afraid." i'm not afraid of losing cable, but i'm afraid of future life decisions (that i normally run from), so the "the man upstairs" was talking to me through that movie/story because that's the only language i understand (stories).

now, two weeks later, i feel fine and then i get scared just wondering what (unknown) i'm going to get scared about. then i'm reminded i can stop the fear, otherwise i wouldn't have been told to do something i can't do.
