Not a native but I still don't understand why you want to go in the summer time. Unless you're filthy rich, unafraid of terrorist attacks, willing to pay for overpriced food, accommodation, train, tourist attractions' tickets, confront really long queues and witness the massive tourist crowds.

Is there any reason why you can't go to Europe during the off season? You realise most of the main tourist attractions are open year-round. :) :gift:

Personally I've been to main parts of Europe and had a really nice time. Of course I always like to plan ahead and reserve train tickets early and feel that travelling through Europe by train is probably the best way to see Europe scenary for the first time and its cities conveniently on a decent budget. You're not going to live there and spend years but only weeks so the train "plan" route is plenty sufficient enough to see Europe and enjoy it. But that's my 2 cents. Sorry i ain't a native girl bro

In CZ, if you're in Prague, go to Letna Park. View at night over the city is enchanting. Also worth seeing are the architecture, bridges, mausoleum (Vitkov) and museums. People are very open, warm, friendly and share their last piece of bread with you.
From 10 booked nights I slept 2 times in the hotel.
Beware of exchange offices (if they still exist).

If france was an option for you. Enjoy southern France, the coastal areas are a dream.
Some people don't like the French but it's just a matter of attitude.

Poland(Krakow) I wanted to go last year but my passport was unfortunately expired.

Romania and Finland are on my list. The latter I only heard good and the people I met here in Switzerland were all friendly, funny and enterprising.
Just never drink with Finns. Really, they fuck u up

In Germany I recommend Hamburg to you. Beautiful big harbour, good food and always something going on somewhere.
If you hear about a "Schanzenfest", go there.
It's a non-commercial festival with many stalls and flea markets. Don't be surprised certain things are burning in the evening and it looks like the world is going to the end. Thats normal
Other beautiful german cities are Nuremberg or Passau which is close to the czech and austria border.
The Germans (not all) are often a bit reserved at the beginning but after the warm-up (beer, just kidding), very cool and open minded.
That's my selective perception. You also hear a lot of the opposite.
I was already in East German areas where locals had warned me to go out alone after 10:00 pm as a stranger.
Never something happens. Its again a attitude thing.
If one compares everything with the own country of origin there is always something negative. Let yourself flow or be like water and everything comes good.

I wish you an unforgettable trip lots of laughter, lots of sun and lots of new experiences.

I appreciate your input, I might visit Germany if time permits. Never been to Munich, or any areas in Bavaria so I will certainly look into your suggested locations. I looked up those areas and the castle + nature scenes looks amazing1

Moreover, generally I try to avoid tourist crowds so probably no Munich for me. However, I have visited Berlin before and it was nice.

EmeraldQueen wrote: Depends on what you want to see (nature, castles, architecture etc), so it's not easy to give any recommendations :) I live in Germany and haven't been to many European countries, so I can only tell you a bit about my country (especially Bavaria).
If you're into nature, I can recommend Allgäu area (Füssen, Neuschwanstein castle is also close to it) or Berchtesgaden.
Rothenburg ob der Tauber is said to be a nice city to visit.
As for me, I also like Munich, but it usually is crowded there.

I have lived in France for 6 months in the past and I have traveled to EU many times. Last summer, I was traveling in EU for 9 weeks. Now, I am asking for Native to EU because local people generally knows interesting places to visit and what to avoid.

Although, I appreciate your effort but what you have been posting here are not what I am asking. If you read what EmeraldQueen and Ty. wrote, that is what I am asking for. Moreover, in terms of Native to EU, it doesn't have to be a female or male, it can be any gender who is a NATIVE, so I don't understand why you put emphasis on gender.

Your comments about traveling to EU, it seems you have a lot of biases towards EU as a non-native. I think it's a shame.

Hey Ty. thanks for your input. Sorry for the late responds, I have been busy with school work.

I have visited the Letna Park before. Last summer, I stayed at Prague 7 and it is right next to Letna Park. I had a few nice beers there. The park has a nice over view of Prague. Furthermore, I know about the money exchange places from another Hey-ai member. Fortunately, there is a new law that just passed recently in Prague and it allows exchange money to be returned back within 3 hours. I'm planning to stay in Prague for a little bit and then visit Brno before going elsewhere.

In the past, I have lived in Hyères, south of France for awhile and it is beautiful, its next to the sea. However, I don't think I will have enough time to visit France on this trip due to the distance from Prague and other Eastern European countries. Maybe after my STEP 1 exam, I can find time to visit France again. I miss the local French wines XD

It is unfortunate about your passport, I think I will be visiting Poland Kraków as you and many other people suggested. If I do end up visiting Kraków, you are welcome to ask me about my experience there. I'll be happy to share info.

Germany sounds fun, I only visited Berlin. I really like the multi-culture feel, often it reminds me of New York City from where I live. However, I do want to see the rest of Germany, EmeraldQueen suggested Bavaria Munich, like you, someone also suggested Hamburg. So, I probably will end up visiting one of those two places. It's going to be interesting!

Now about drinking with the Finns, I'm not a heavy drinker but I am curious to know what and how much local Finns drinks XD...
I'm looking forward to try out one of their Pub-Tram "SpåraKOFF" that servers drinks. There is also the Reindeer park that I would like to visit.
I am talking to a few Finnish locals and we will be hanging out while I am there. It will be interesting to experience how locals live in Helsinki.

Again, much appreciate for your inputs. Please feel free to ask me about New York City, Boston, other East Coast cities or even Grenada, True Blue where I am studying medical school. I will be more than happy to share with you places to visit and how to get around.

Have a good week.

@TrueBlue Sorry for disappointing you   . I assumed you have never been to Europe as you never wrote that in your background. You are better off to input those details in to help clarify better, but it was my bad to presume.

Every beautiful city in the world has a peak season. I've been to Sydney Australia during the summer and even tho Circular Quay was always crowded. The Sydney Opera House was surprisingly uncrowded. Would I recommend it? For first time to Australia, absolutely. But to go again, it is too overrated particularly in peak season as it is just a building. I would recommend Fraser Island for someone like myself in summer who likes swimming, hiking and beautiful scenery.

I barely know you or your tastes.
Are you a people person who likes to bar hop or someone who appreciates a bit of nature alone. You should make sure to thoroughly describe yourself, what you like in travel and your prior experiences in Europe. And then people here can then help you alot better than my failed advice.

I've never been to Europe in the summer. I only read that info online a few years back but you have and willing to go again. So please write about your experiences when you get back as I am interested in learning about it. Wishing you a memorable happy euro trip TrueBlue :)

I'd rather hire some former Soviet blocs girls to promote my PUA and game techniques and "field test" with some desperate AM guys in the former Soviet blocs over the summer where they pay several thousands of dollars and I can go for free. B)

Seriously, though, I actually met somebody who paid $3K for these classes and is out pulling his "game" almost every weekend acting like a douchebag to apply "the techniques" (have to get his money's worth). Probably don't realize he's giving other AMs a bad name while he's at it, since we're not afforded individuality in the Anglosphere.

That's odd. I really thought I already messaged you but looks like I never clicked send.

There are cold hearted mofos who are already capitalising on your idea. IN China, they tell desperate chinese men who are wealthy but zero personality or looks that Russian girls aren't materialistic as chinese women. And then they pay 10k per group date from what i heard on the media.

I actually suspect those women were just hired as bait  or gold diggers yet these managers never seem to run out of willing clients chasing a fantasy and turn blind eye to the superficiality of it all. If you have entrepreneurial prowess, no moral compass and want to travel the post soviet countries. There are plenty of poor mainland suckers. But don't forget they're human too who are feeling unhappy.

Is it really worth a free trip? Believe it or not, travel does not have to be expensive. It is cheaper for me to vacation at South East asia than to stay at home paying expensive rent at HK. I actually save money when I go down there.

Maybe hypothetical cat mum was a horrible business idea. But if you are willing to take a chance on yourself, you could try travel blogging. Travelling to places that are dirt cheap and blogging about it, can attract a wide global readership who are interested in those places and your stories. You can then work and build yourself up from there, compounding income and have a job that pays for your travel that you can be proud of. There are already people who actually achieved that and I so envy them.

Your other idea just makes me feel like humanity needs to be purged from its hellish stupidity.

In case, I'm not sardonic enough, I've been writing it tongue-in-cheek about certain personalities.

Look up Winston Wu.

I've been looking into those remote devops jobs, but I'm not a web development person and don't have much interest with e-commerce to get into it.

I'm definitely following this thread and ideas for when I plan to visit later this year.

Thx and don't worry about writing back. I can't always write back immediately, either. Also I'm corresponding with the media this week and have to watch my rhetoric strictly, fuck i swear..

I am very curious about your impressions in Krakow. That my passport had expired was good, I only wanted for a extended weekend.
And my fellow travellers(born poland) just wanted to go shopping and party. I wanted to see the historical spots and I consider certain places obligatory.
I think after KZ Auschwitz-Birkenau you have other things in your mind than consumption and partying... So it was good I couldn't go.

You right, there is good beer in CZ. I haven't been there for a long time but it's good to know of the right of return in the exchange offices. Thx
Qui, qui, les Français et leurs le vin. Most of the standard restaurants can be smoked but general the food is very good when you cook with the locals.
Only the croissants don't taste very good to me, the Swiss ones taste better for me.

I warned you to drink with the Finns and he wants to go to a pub on wheels with them XD
If you're on the ground and my words echo.. drink one for me True Blue

You're not doing anything wrong with Germany. I have already heard the suggestions of EmeraldQueen from some friends. I can't tell you much about München. I just stayed there one night and just drove through, respectively got lost there and didn't come out of a rich area anymore (was befor the googleMaps era).
Meanwhile I take the train when I travel to germany. You learn interesting people in the train and you have no stress except maybe the train is burning like last time.
I don't know why it always must burns when I travel to germany. I wish my heart would burn like that

Thank you for your US offer. By the way, my relatives on mother's side, are Americans, but good to know when I get near to your region.
Same to you, if you're planning visiting Switzerland especially Lucerne. Let me know this early. I can show you some sights and tell you a lot about them.
If you want more action we can join a crew that does almost every weekend something crazy things like canyoning, bridge jump, extreme hiking et cetera. Would be good if there a medical around.. www.youtube.com/chan...BUbIb3eA/videos You can also just hang out with these guys and enjoy the panorama.
Influencers would kill for this spots, if the Finn in the Crew has not already done it

Keep me informed how your trip was. Have a nice week
