Here is about the new law for exchange offices in Czech Rep:
The crooks there won't be happy. So, when doing the transaction, don't forget to ask for the receipt... as it is the only proof you will have to cancel the change & get your money back.

I'm presently staying in this great city, capital of Czech Republic: Prague for some days until the end of this month. & Doctor True Blue is due to arrive very soon... So, Prague being very centrally located in Central Europe, if anyone from any neighbouring country can make a visit, even a daytrip to Prague, please let us know here, so that we can plan a Hey-Ai meet-up in town. There are many things to do & see here.

I wish all countries could learn English before they connect those trains, because I'm in Czech Republic right now. And although you might find some English speaking people in Prague, pretty much everyone everywhere Else, can't speak English for sh*t

Or you can learn few words Czech.
Always expecting people to know english is blázen. This can also creates funny situations when they cant speak english.
We wanted to visit a brewery in Plzen and asked a cop for the way. We said "beer" and formed a bottle with our hands. He misunderstood this and guided us to the next strip club

As for me, I tend to dig & focus on the non-touristy places, hidden gems, places where locals go.
@ defunct_user:
If I may ask, what exactly are you calling a 3rd world culture in Prague?

I've been watching YouTube about EU traveling and makes me sad that Prague has these sorts of 3rd world culture - not surprising since it's former Eastern Bloc and you see that sort of behavior in Asia as well.![]()
@ Psy6:
I have to agree with Ty, learning a few words from the local country's language is always an plus. And I noticed people of Prague tend to be very patient with me (despite my many mistakes) whenever I was trying to speak Czech.
Where exactly are you staying in Cz. ? care for a meet-up ?

I'm half czech. I Come here because of family. I have learned a bit, but not enough to get me around. Everyone also tells me not to learn it. It's like playing the violin. It takes a life time to get good and most czech says it's So hard to learn, that most czech cant speak czech. So dont give me that bs crap about people not needing it. Norwegians have Norwegian as primary language. We still learn english, So we can communicate with all u suckers out there x)
