Some of them were actually starving before they get onto big stage.

I know that is exact the reason why "real" fans like them they actually know their struggle and that's why they are fans to cheer them up
I might not be a kpop fan but I had alot of kpop fan friends and they know their struggles and everything

They have other struggles, like being forbidden to date without permission.

Western media like to discredit Asia and Asian men， I sometimes watch American movies，You rarely see an Asian male protagonist，
In American movies, Asians are either nerds or short Asian men，You know, in many western countries，Many people like American culture，So they're also biased against Asian men，
I think the western media vilify Asian men mainly because they are afraid of East Asian countries，Mongols, Huns, Turks conquered Europe，But the Europeans never conquered East Asia，Some Western women think Asian men are thinner,I've seen some European men, and I don't think they're obviously stronger than Chinese men in the north, Kazakh Mongolian, kirgiztan, Pakistani men

I don´t know what kind of expierences / szenerarios you had with asian men. If you are interested in an asian guy i would encourage you to step up and make something if you have that opportunity. you cannot expect, that asian guys will make the first step esspecially if they don´t know that you are interested in them. if you use your shyness as a reason not to step over your own shadow by start the interaction it will always holding you back. my words are probably a little bit harsh, but like i said i just want to encouraging an the rest is up to you...
