and almost all the other races look at us as savages while they watch what is being done to us. it's unbelievable.
I have never wanted to cry so bad, its really bad here. (oh course its not the worse thing happening in the world currently) but as a person,a human being who literally loves everybody without any bias in my body despite being discriminated against, i can not wrap my mind around how nearly the whole world can consider one race(who was victimized) as a threat when that same race has yet to reveal half as much threatening behavior as the race that enslaved nearly the whole world.

And the shocking realization is that this isn't something new. It's been happening all along and it's only thanks to widespread smartphones that victims now have proof, and these stories finally have gained attention in the past few years. Before that it was just the words of the officer... vs a dead victim.
The guys that complain on here about how tough it is to be Asian because dating is harder... they don't know the struggles other minorities have to face.
With all the mass shootings going on, there have also been a pretty large increase in concealed weapons carry. The victim in Minnesota was carrying legally, and it makes me wonder how many more innocent people will begin to get shot down by cops simply because they panic when hearing that a man has a legally concealed weapon. It also makes me wonder how many civilians will do the same in situations where they are under stress and panic. Seems that sometimes people are even itching for that situation to arise so they can use it, and I ccan see the situation often times falling short of the need for a gun, but it will be pulled and fired anyways.
And then finally NRA's stupid logic that more guns = more safety will quickly fly out the window. Well, actually it already has. 9 years ago there were about 4 million people with concealed carry permits, now there are about 13 million concealed carry permits. Yet the number of mass shootings increased and gun deaths have not gone down. Hmmmm who would've thought?
Also, it' no longer black lives matter, when it comes to gun violence. I feel that there is a general lack of respect and value for the human life at this point. If you ask me, there is a serious problem in the general perspective of why people in the U.S buy a gun in the first place. Most people I talk to buy it for "defense" reasons. It's never "well I just like guns and shooting" or "Shooting trap targets is just so much fun". It's always, "well in case the mafia/government/young delinquent/drunk grandmother comes into my house, I will shoot them down". It's actually sickening and is often the reason why I don't even talk to people at the gun range. The amount of "Man that's a kill shot" "Aim for center of mass to stop the person" "Obama is the anti-christ so I reload ammo in case of an apocalypse" is unreal and unsettling.
I hate people.

If you listen to the cop in the Castile shooting video you can hear how shaky and pleading his voice is when he says "I told him not to reach for it!" He was legitimately afraid of him and it wasn't because he was honest about carrying a gun with a permit. I've told cops the same exact thing and never had a weapon pulled on me, but I'm a white female. He was afraid because he was a black man who had a gun.
Castile had a legal right to carry that gun. He even did the appropriate thing by informing the officer he had one, which isn't what someone does when they intend to shoot a cop. So sad, because that fear is learned somewhere but also good because it can be unlearned too.

I just threw that in the lighten things up a little. LOL point is, people are ready to shoot just about anybody that breaks into there house. The whole idea of buying a gun for self-defense repeatedly puts in these theoretically "life threatening" scenarios into people's head seems to me that it is just getting people paranoid. And then when someone does break into your house (which is either by a drunk person who has no idea where they even are,or someone simply just robbing your things, not your life) they pull out a gun, initially thinking it could be life threatening because they have been conditioned to think this, and shoot them down, only to find out later that it wasn't necessary. If it's someone breaking in your house to murder you, well you probably are getting into the wrong crowds. Been a good amount of people shot for drunkenly walking into the wrong house at the dead of night. Now that people so many people have access to guns, even more than before, I can see this all happening all to much, inside and outside of the house really.

He shouldn't have ever became a cop then, that simple. If you are afraid of me giving you very important info such as ( i have a registered gun) to make you aware and ease your mind of the thought i would use it on you and you still attack me for following orders (because black and brown people are taught at a very young age always do as the police says). There was nothing else he could have done except not move and possibly be dragged from the car then sue the police officer later. There is literally nothing more we can do at this point. Even before it got this bad, anytime im stopped before the office gets out the car im already on the phone calling my uncle whose a police chief to make sure im doing everything right and there is no room for error or lies. its just so sad, it gets to a point of feeling helpless like damn do i need to move back to Cuba or Africa which one will welcome me more?

Well, stop driving like a jerk and you won't get pulled over.
Jk

It's sad but now if you are black and you carry, then you should just keep your hands up and let them grab your ID apparently. Even then, no gaurantee you won't get shot.
Also, it's easy to say he shouldn't be a cop if he can't keep his cool and think clearly, but even all the training in the world sometimes won't help a person in a real situation where stress and panic is overwhelming. Then they resort to instinctive response towards a threat that has been reinforced by their training, shoot to kill. :\ As I said, I think there should be an overall reevaluation in the general attitude towards using a gun, and probably also racism lol
