Black lives matter.
wow, i just saw the video of Alton because of your post. thankfully, they have the tape to prove it. the cop purposely shot him "execution style." all i can say is, those cameras mean everything these days. i think it is no accident that they exist everywhere now.
i had heard about freddie grey last summer or spring. you mentioned Baltimore several months back, and i had told you i didn't know about it but that's because i didn't know Baltimore was the city his death took place in, i was only familiar with him/his name and was sort of aware that it was near the New York area. (i don't pay attention to certain details sometimes, just general info.)
i didn't know you noticed these things about the black community over here. (we're good people.we're more kind and fun than lots of people will ever know. very sad, that video.)
I will really encourage you to read this book.

When i wanted to get my first gun, i got it because my sister was robbed at gun point while with her kids, so it was more of a "no one will ever victimize me in that way"type of thing but being around the shooting range and the people in it, they say things like they rather shoot to kill because if you don't kill the person then they can sue you and they much rather take peoples lives. its disgusting and sad
If you are robbed at gun point, then chances are you won't even have the time to pull out the gun anyways. And if you did, that could be the last thing you did considering its much quicker to pull a trigger than it is to pull out the gun, aim and shoot. But, that is besides the main point. Do you really want to kill someone because they took your things? Even if someone broke into my house, and was robbing every thing they could, I would probably just go to a safe spot and wait until they left. Not worth having a dead person on my conscious because they took my nice flat screen tv. And I'm sure they might not entirely be terrible people. Perhaps they're addicted to drugs, struggling for money and got a family to take care of, got involved with the wrong crowd and are doing things they normally might not do. They are still people, and more likely than not, they are not unredeemable.
If my babies were around i would kill them. stats show that when robbing females, men dont stop at the robbery so yeah im going to shoot you. im not going to kill you because my aims not that great anyway but if you tell me to give you the money in my purse, when i reach in my purse im going to take the safety off and shoot; sue me later and be happy im not one of the other people from my shooting range who wouldnt think twice about taking a life.
So basically, all criminals robbing women are rapists (I'm assuming that's what you mean by going beyond robbing). Although, I would like to see that statistic for myself to see just how common that is. Is that not the same logic cops and other people have that black people are criminals. Stats show that per capita, black males commit more homicides than other group in the U.S. So using your similar logic, if I'm a cop pulling over or stopping a black male, I should assume he is more likely a fatal threat than a non-black male. Therefore, if he does anything that could mean danger for me or those around me(for the cop in Minnesota, it was basically a black man saying "i'm carrying a gun"), I should shoot him down, without thinking twice.
Seems a little ironic to me.
Yes, you may say they(cops) are suppose to protect people, but they want to keep their lives too.
