How important is HEIGHT?

One of the reasons why women dont like many Asian guys is because height is an extremely important factor in choosing a guy. Asian guys are generally considerably shorter and skinnier than all the other races. Non-asian women are the tallest women on this planet. There's a physical mismatch. Why is it important?

Well, they like tall guys because 1) guys are expected to be masculine, muscular and taller than women by convention. 2) Women want to wear high heels.

I know its important because I have a defunct profile on a dating site and...in the sections they look for in their match/partner...women always leave the sections on default setting as "ANY." However, they usually always fill in the preference sections on...HEIGHT, AGE , LOCATION, BODY TYPE, ATTRACTIVENESS, RACE, LANGUAGE. These are probably the top 7 most important factors for women for dating.

Height? Never understood why such a big deal is made out of height. NEVER.
I know I'm tall (5'6"-ish) and I know that East Asian guys are short. I came to terms with that years ago.

As long as it isn't too big of a height difference, I can do with either taller or shorter.
But yeah, just like Karyuu I never wear high heels. So hard to walk in for me o_o.. I love my slip-ons, in fact the two pairs of shoes I wear most are men's haha. Tony Hawk~

ummm...... many non-asian girls are not tall, and asian guys (that ive met) are not that short...... lol umm im short and i like tall guys? i agree with everything you said about the guys feeling more masculine, etc. and i love wearing high heels. since im rather small, i really would not go for a guy shorter than me... even if i was taller.. i still dont think i would either. i guess its personal preference; but, most girls want taller guys


edit: wow, i cannot believe that the avg chinese guy is 5-5.

most people are actually unconsciously choosing their partner base on height. it's just a natural selection and biological preference and it happens ever since the stone age. that's why u see tall people date each other and short people marrying each other....most of the time

as for me, since i'm a little bit taller than average asian male, i do always got a lot of stares when i go out. probably people just want to double check that i'm really an asian guy

Oh height is very important..i mean if i DONT have too climb up on a ladder to kiss the guy..then he isnt tall enough...

im 1/4th of an inch from 5ft7. but i dont get technical...so i say im 5ft7..

I dont wear heels..im so used to wearing sneakers and flats..that heels hurt my feet.

actuallly to be honest...i havent come across a whole lot of asian guys who have been shorter than i am...most are my height or taller..the ones who have been shorter have been like maybe an inch...

the shortest i think though...is like almost 5 inches shorter...but..ya know...he's cool..it's cool..i dont mind..I dont even think about it.
