How important is HEIGHT?

Well, I am going to be honest, for me heigh is really important and has always been.

Because Im the GIANT from our family, I dont want to feel like that with my partner.

The guy needs to be at least 168cm for me to really feel comfortable and safe with him.

Of course, I feel comfortable with shorter guys as a friend... but not in relationship...

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm 5'8 (172 cm) all the guys I ever dated were smaller then me. some didn't seem to care at all but there were a couple who always told me never to wear high heels. kinda annoyed me. shortness never bothered me kinda wish my tallness never bothered them.

as important as WEIGHT
along with other physical features.

balance is the key, i think.
like, for me, i might like a girl of a very attractive face, who is a little chubby, though i usually prefer slender girls.

but i wouldn't date BIG(in weight) girls.
that's just bad coz big girls are more likely to have problems health-wise in the future.
i would still date TALLER girls though.

and i think whatever we prefer can be shallow.
like where is the line?
i'm sure no one on here would date someone their parents' age.

i remember when my ex (5'-10" - 11"ish) said this on the valentine's day.
"you're short, even shorter than i am. but you have everything else what i look for from men."
ever since then all the girls i've dated were actually taller than i am lol

if one is seeking particular physical feature, that means you're insecure about that feature on your very own (you may not notice by yourself, but others will see that in you). height is only one feature of many other features a person have. the perception deceives your judgement, like a kid. i wouldn't bother to see someone who keeps bragging about height. then the person's going to brag about something else soon or later.

To be honest, for me height is very important. I like to have a girl, who is shorter than me. But I am 5'11 (1,80m) so it was not difficult for me

Weird, I keep seeing guys around campus who are shorter than me and I think they're either cute or some variant and wouldn't mind meeting them, but all the guys I have crushes on are taller than me o__O
Maybe I just need shorter friends haha.

I'm pretty tall actually, especially among my group of Asian friends, so I don't really mind height differences that much. Physically, I look at weight more than height ^^

Height is...somewhat important (to us at least).
A couple of inches shorter than us is fine, but if the guy is almost a whole head shorter...then...thats a bit too much. Lol
Though if we did really like someone, it wouldn't matter. (But everyone says that anyway..... XD)

although Dutch do have the tallest height in the world, 175cm shouldn't be a problem.
I think the northern Chinese guys' average is taller than me. and I'm 183cm already. so i guess you just gotta know where to look

I never really thought about height when I was looking for a guy... usually they're the same height as me or taller...might be because I'm in general pretty short myself (though 2 heads taller than my mom) haha.
I always look up to people
