How important is HEIGHT?

Well, I prefer guys that are 10 cm taller - same height.
I was with a guy who was like 20 cm taller, but kissing was pretty inconvenient.
Same height is ideal for kissing.
To be honest, if he's more than 5 cm smaller than me, I might feel a little bit uncomfortable walking around, but if he has a great character, I might still consider a relationship.

I think high heels can also mean certain type of power...sexual power and stature that she is taller rather than shorter for instance. At the minimum it is more choices for ladies to adorn themselves with.

If that was the case there won't be short guys left!! What about other physical attributes like facial feature, body type.... and more importantly...personality!

I guess it's because I'm short. I'm only 4'11". I try to cap it off at 5'8" at most, but even that's a little too tall for me. Kissing and holding a guy while standing gets difficult when they're tall.

Aesthetically short guys have nice legs, especially their calve muscles, yummy! And I like it when the guy has a long torso and short legs. I know it's weird but I like that look.

I prefer a girl to be my height or thereabouts. I'm 5'10, so anyone near that or taller is always happy days!

I wouldn't say I it doesn't matter to me at all, but definitely height is not my first priority to date a woman.
I'm 176cm, a little taller than Japanese male's average (171cm).
So long as she isn't more than 2 heads taller with high heels than I am, I don't really care.

I never wear heels. I'm so tall to begin with, they make me look like freakin' Godzilla or an Amazon lady when I wear heals. They're also uncomfortable... >.<;; I only will wear really short heals, like an inch or two if I ever wear heels.

I am a bit jealous of my one friend. She's a bit shorter (half-Mexican) and she can just rock heals. xD

Height was never important to me - as long as he is taller than me. If he would be smaller - that would feel kind of weird, honestly.
But - I'm in a fortunate position where it would be veeeeery unlikely to happen a guy will be smaller than me as I'm only 5'1 myself <- midget
How much taller than me doesn't matter. There are far more important facts than height.

It's really important to me I'm tall I'm 5'6-5'7 and I would like to wear boots and heels without being taller so any guy that is still taller than me with them on is good enough for me =]

I used to care a lot, like she needs to be minimum 5'7. Now I don't even care at all anymore. I'm 6'1, but lately, long as you're 5'1+ you're fine lol, which I find surprising myself actually.

Ookami, I read your piece and thought it was a shame what you wrote.

I used to think a lot about what people think, but since moving and living in London, I don't think too much about what people say or think. As long as I know that I'm not doing anything illegal, I'll keep doing what makes me happy and what is right for me. That's not saying that I don't use recyclable carrier bags or I chew with my mouth open, it just means that I do what I like and what makes you beautiful isn't just the killer heels you're wearing, but it's also the personality that you posses. I'm 5'10 and while I'm not what one considers "tall", I don't base my judgement of a potential friend/ partner due to their physical attributes. I'll be honest and admit that looks do form part of the selection process, but if I wanted to be friends or date a girl, I'd look past that tiny tiny tiny subject of the exterior form.
I really hope you get some encouragement from this email Ookami, I read what you wrote and just couldn't move on without writing this to you. You are a lovely person, and being tall is great, in fact, the girls in the Netherlands would dwarf you! 5'11 isn't that tall, ok! Haha! If any guy, Oriental or otherwise bases their friendship/ dating choice simply because you are taller than them are obviously fickle and not worth your time. I've dated taller girls in my time, and what matters is the fact that the girl likes me, even if I'm shorter than her. And I like her even if I have to stand on a yellow pages book to kiss her or look lovingly into her eyes when the moon is reflected in my eyes! LOL!
