Depends on each human begin... but nodaways society this days is f*** up... all you can mostly do is hope that your partner will be loyal you and so likewise yourself

The keyword in my original post is "should". True you always run the risk of being cheated on, divorced, etc. but that's a risk with any relationship. All we can control is to be as awesome a person as we possibly can and be discriminant in selecting a partner.

What's been the running thread in your gorgeous and lovely (biased description, btw) friends? They all selected guys who later turned out to be "complete idiots". Maybe women should develop a better guydar?

It's sad. There is not only one reason to it and depending from the culture a lot. I still think that marrying just once is great. I really wish to achieve that and if I don't, I don't want to end up braking myself with so many relationships. In every relationship you have, you will give a part from you away and gain something different for it. So I can see that these ppl are like a multicolored puzzle they have many experiences to share but not one united peace of a puzzle. Everything has it's good and bad sides, it depends what angle you look at it.

but if it's what a girl look for in a guy, that's the first thing I can think of if it's a real realtionship !!
