Usually ppl divorces 'cause they don't love each other anymore - no matter how wonderful the partner was and the couple have kids. Of course some ppl divorce 'cause the other one wasn't loyal enough, but I guess that isn't so common anymore or is it? o.O I think most of the break-ups happens, 'cause of the lack of loyalty, when couple is on the dating stage, not in marriage.

And there are a lot more different reasons..like my parents divorced 'cause my dad went to buy (without informing my mum) a piece of land so he can build a house and my mum didn't want to get involved in that +they had fighted like every evening 2yrs before that happened

just trying to say that loyalty isn't the only issue here...........and i feel a bit offended that OP directed it to western ppl instead of the whole human population

In short...Divorce is like a culture in west...East has ability to bear and cope with social moral values...Easterns are westernised nowadays...

oh i think you cant fix that on the nation ... i never had a europin boyfriend or so but got cheated really often.. my last boyfriend played a perfect relationship for over 1,5years and never told me he was married.. but even by aspecting that i would never say all men or all asian are like that.. cause in every eticgroup and every culture there are good persons and bastards .. thats life

Some people marry each each other because they have to you know not because they love each other. It's called arranged marriages because they don't want to disappoint or to be disowned by their family. You can't necessarily blame this on just one population of people. Plus there is many reasons to get divorced people change life is too short to live in a loveless marriage and be in misery..Of course it's not fair to the children but life isn't fair and we all have to learn that.

Westerners cant be loyal for marriage is totally a stereotype for everyone, that completely depends on what kinda of person and suitability for couple.

Why single out Westerners? heck, with sites like hey-ai, no one can be loyal. Get bored or tired of your partner, jump on hey-ai and look for a better one. Not single and not bored yet, not a problem.. Just surf hey-ai in case a better one comes along. That's what this site really does. You can't deny it.

In the east, people are ashamed of divorce, but that doesn't mean they're loyal.

If you can't be faithful to the partner you love, then that's your business.

But don't use that as an excuse.
There's a phrase I really like, it says:

Loyalty isn't a feeling, it's a decision.

So if you decide to be unfaithful, live with it. But don't expect other people to be as weak as you are.
