If you are living in an Asian country, it might be a bit more difficult to marry an Asian. But it's just my own experience ... and my own opinion. It might be different from country to country ... or from family to family

I'm an immigrant and my parents don't mind. They always like to ask if my girlfriend is Asian or not just because it's a bit easier and comfortable for them, but other than that, they don't really care.

never felt it in such a way, when i remember back, the family of my first boyfriend ( Japanese) always was really nice to me a bit distanced but they had no problem with me.
my last boyfriend was a Vietnamese and his family was really lovely, it was like a warm welcome every time i met them,
and now i am with a Chinese for a long time, and at the beginning, yes, his mum wasn't pleased with me, she aspect her son to go back to china and marry a Chinese girl and get a child with her, but now after time has passed and he has a family and child with me, she started being nice and kind and and even worried about me sometimes, it rather my mother who can't accept him and tried to break us up a few times.

My parents had a lot of problems in their marriage due to my father's troublesome family.
Eventually they broke up over a variety of problems but the decisive breaking point was when my father's parents decided to start insulting my mom. I am quite biased since I was raised by her for the most part, but from what I've experienced living with my grandparents I'd say what she has told me is completely plausible. My father came from a high middle class family while my mom was raised in an orphanage with a mother who married six times with I don't even know how many children. Needless to say their outlooks on life were quite disparate.
