It honestly depends on the family. Some people don't and some do. I guess it just depends what their views are on certain races and how much exposure they've had to them.

Talking from personal experience; Asian families do fully accept you.

I know for me it would be really difficult especially cause I'm not white I'm a completely different color. Being black and liking asians is bound for trouble, but I can't help it nothing else turns me on more than them. Ugghh the life of an oreo.

They're immigrants doing business here for the past 4 years. So yes....very traditional. He thought by now they would be used to all the different kinds of people here, guess not! I really feel for the guy. I often helped him with his English because he really wanted to communicate better with the girls here.

No offence, but maybe I am a white girl, but a lot of ppl don't understand my preferences- even a few of my best friends make fun on me, that "I like yellow" and think that couples white guy + Asian girl are more "normal". So don't tell me that being white is such a great facilitation :/ if both people love each other race/nationality is no matter

just being yourself is the key ^^

If your parents aren't happy for you then they clearly care more about themselves than your happiness and well-being.

in my case, my boyfriend is Chinese/Vietnamese and his parents are awesome to me. He's even told me that they like me more than his other asian girlfriends. So I would say they are accepting.

His Parents dont speak very good english and I they are quite traditional but I think they are pretty layed back. So I think it really depends on the Parents. not all Asian families do not accept foreigners.
