Asian families do not accept foreigners?

I hope they do. my future boyfriend's/husband's/whatever's parents will like me. Everybody likes me LOL

Some parents may be conservative.... in that case, the Asian boy should play a trick to them: claim he found out he's homosexual. & some days later, tell them he eventually fell in love with a non-Asian woman who turned him away from men.
His parents will love the non Asian girl for ever.

My parents are opened minded people. My sister is dating a white guy right now. So it really depend on the parents or family?

My mom doesn't care. My dad is open to anyone as long as she isn't black. He's super racist...I don't give a shit what he thinks though. If I happen to go out with a black girl and he hates it, I'm just going to stop talking to him and live my life.

But and I do mean but she is okay with my sister marrying a white guy who I have a mixed white/chinese nephew out of it.
Grandma says it is okay for chinese girls to marry outside their race but not the boys. WTF?

Usually it is the opposite, as overseas Chinese or Chinese I know that you are okay with marrying out of your race (for a guy), but not for a girl.

My parent are okay for me to marry outside of my ethnicity and race, but it depend on the person and which culture and race.

I can imagine that there are a few families who would like to see an asian-girl more like a white or black woman but in the end (most) people know that it depends on the personality of one person and not on their appearance.
Moreover, it's more important that both are happy, right?
