Oh, and I just love hearing about your life. To me it's so interesting and you simply amaze me.

As for the book I'm reading now it's Not a penny more, not a penny less by Jeffrey Archer.

It's about a group of men of different status' who invest in a thought to be very successful up-and-coming oil company. But the man behind the scenes, Harvey Metcalfe are simply using them. The company has not struck oil and he swindles these 4 men out of a million£.
He gets out and closes the company before the new that the oil is nonexistent and runs away with the mens investments.
Since they've been swindled and they've lost alot of money and reputation they want revenge.
That's the basic plot of this book.

Oh you should really really try The princess Bride by William Goldmann. This is the funniest book I've ever read XD

Honestly I think I can judge how good a friend i am going to be with someone depending on how they like this book haha. I swear you won't be able to put it down. Hands down modern classic.

A psychological thriller laced with a fair bit of dark humour, S&M and gore.
Not for the faint of heart. I enjoyed it.

Just finished Murakami's Norwegian Wood and Lorrie Moore's Like Life.

Moore's brilliant at portraying the sense of displacement felt by modern professionals in the developed world with good humor, and at times, tragically poignant observations. I've got to read more of her stuff.

I haven't read it...but I don't get why she named the book that, as it doesn't seem to have any connection to either norway or wood x)

but maybe I'm wrong >_>

He named the book after the Beatles song Norwegian Wood...

It is a wonderful book. I'd recommend it. I'm a big fan of Murakami's work. :)

Apart from "How to make love like a porn star - a cautionary tale" (Jenna Jameson), I'm only interested in books where I can fill in pictures with different coloured crayons.
 :P

On a serious note, last book I literally touched to open and read was a dictionary of proverbs.
