Ok...so....do girls like shy Asian guys?

I think its better when a shy guy dates a more outgoing girl, or a shy girl dates a more outgoing guy. Simply because, with two shy people dating, its probably not going to get past the, " Hi...." -awkward, slightly cute look- "How are you?" -more silence." Lots of fidgeting and avoidence of eye-contact. Not a good way to start out, and more often than not they either quit talking to one another, or even if they like one another, never say, and end up in the 'friends only' category.

That is a great idea but the outgoing type usually doesn't date the shy type. I mean, what is the chance of them meeting each other if one stays at home playing video game all day; and the other is always out partying. Although I do agree with you that it would make it much easier!

Hmm, good point. But, being outgoing doesn't mean a person goes out partying all the time. And being shy doesn't mean they stay home with their video games all day either. They have to venture out sometime. Its all about chance, really. You never know.

No matter if the person is shy or not, as long as he's a nice guy it's easy to like him.

I think two outgoing people or two shy people might have more in common. A shy person + outgoing person is going to have a lot of conflicts. One person feels obliged to accommodate the other's desire to go out or to stay home.

A quiet guy + a shy girl that's more outgoing is a good match. They're similar enough and complementary. A purely outgoing/party girl won't mesh well with the quiet guy, though.

I don't mind a guy being shy initially. It's quite endearing. However, if the shyness doesn't wear off after a little while (like a fortnight or so), he goes into the friend's zone and stays there.
