it can be cute sometimes honestly because some people have to get to know someone before they come outta their shell but if the shyness is a constant then things become awkard and VERY uncomfortable

Well, it depends on their preferences. But for me, being shy is ok, but too shy is not good, you don't want a person who being extremely shy that hardly can communicate and lack of confidence. Shy has many different types, I guess ladies like the shy in Asian guys is in being modest, humble and reserved. Too confidence and cocky, the ladies don't like it. So, shy in terms of being modest, humble and reserved and not arrogant which these kind of shy Asian guys they are looking for.
