This. I've gone after the "serious" thing for pretty much all my life. I found that... some girls really aren't all that into the stereotypical Disney movie romance. Some would take the best that they can get. Settling down the the nice guy later on, if they ever settle down.

I was talking about this with a few of my ex-coworkers (all girls). They mentioned how some girls would "overshoot" the mark and partied a bit too long and that they weren't as sought after from the guys. It was a hard transition for a few of them, since they were mostly used to leaning on their looks to get them by.

Maybe she does (I can't judge from online), but if what you've being trying hasn't been working for 10-20 years, maybe it's time to change strategy. $deity knows I've had to do that given changing location, changing age group, etc. She can consider looking in a different area, different age group, etc. Meet people through activities or friends rather than clubs or online. It's a lot better than blaming the guys for not being sensitive enough.

Maybe what your coworkers are describing is reflective of the "sudden transition" around age 30 for men. It's not that we're any more attractive, it's that women's standards and expectations have changed.

Hmm it depends on how shy he is. If he's shy most of the time but a tiger between closed doors, then let me at him I think shy guys can be very cute, but it doesn't help if we're both shy all the time...a balance between shy and outspoken would be great

I think yes because, well in the case of Latinas, we are so accustomed to the "outgoing" of the latinos boys so we found something... different? maybe? but finally thats doesn't matter much because the really important things is "the person" I mean, the "kind" of person, shy or not (and depends the girl too). In my case I prefer that kind of boys "napum namja" cuz they are like "bad and evil" for the rest but inside of his heart he's totally tender.
