Well, in most countries, the age of consent is 16 so the law makers think that once someone is 16 he/she has the ability to decide for her/himself (not true for everyone). Big dating sites usually have a minimum age requirement of 18 to avoid legal issues. I think the question is to what extent do we intervene. joking lol well the problem is where to draw the line? Cuz if you impose it to rigorously, then you're gonna lose members, but if it's too loose, then there will be people who get hurt. I think it's just a matter of telling the girls what to expect, what to do, and what not to. Impose an age limit, then educate them a bit. That'll cut a big portion of girls who act stupid

The thing with imposing an age limit though is that people will always find a way around it. A girl who is under 16 may look older and lie because she thinks that she is old enough to know better but really she's just going to end up hurting herself when messing around like that.

Do you think an age gap matters between two people that love each other sincerely? When your feelings are so strong, a couple of numbers will be nothing, you won't be able to see them.
Can anyone set a rule and say that you're not allowed to have feelings for someone younger than 16 ot 18? If we could control our minds and hearts, if that thing would truly be possible than that rule would work. But it's not possible.. for anyone, to do that.

I'm not even considering creepy, bad people that toy with girls or boys. That's not worth discussing.

In all seriousness, I think its ultimately up to the minor to judge whats acceptable and whats "creepy". The rest of us can assist by warning them of dangers and reporting the "creeps".

All jokes aside, proper education is really important. The best way to protect a child is through correct parenting.
