Several of us attending has never been to Toronto before so many sightseeing and tourist attractions!
I'm a personal sucker for aquariums but generally hanging out as well.

Definitely can't go wrong with the Ripley's Aquarium. It's really is an amazing date place, so if you're here and have a girl to take on a date, it's definitely one of the best places to go. The Harbourfront in downtown Toronto almost always has an event going on, usually it's cultural. If for some reason there's still snow and ice by the time you guys land, stick around at night and bring the girls out for skating too. You can rent skates there.

There's tons of art galleries near the western end of downtown, but the big one is still the Art Gallery of Ontario. There's also the Royal Ontario Museum. Light shows over in Ontario Place.

There's an extensive series of underground pathways in Toronto, it's like an underground city with groceries and shops, but it connects to many major buildings and areas in the downtown core too. Rather convenient, and something to see if it's something you haven't seen before.

If you guys can drive, that's where the real fun begins. Tons of hiking spots, as well as notable sightseeing places like the Badlands within an hour or two drive time.

You'd be amazed the variety of things you guys can do around here. I hope you guys enjoy your time here. I grew up here, and am pretty damn proud of what we got here in and around the city. :)

Sounds lovely! We'll be sure to hit up most of the places within our given time lol

Actually super interested in this. According to blogto there's a bunch of art exhibits going on that week like Codex: playable & disruptive futurist eArt, and Art of the book. But if the weather is warm you guys should check out the parks we have around the city as well. Especially if it's warm enough and the cherry blossoms at trinity Bellwood or High Park start blooming early.

Whoops, it took a while for me to respond to this one. I don't come to this community too often and only saw this today.
Unfortunately provincial parks are closed until April 30th, and most of the city is pretty much on lock down just like many other places in the world as well. If you guys do delay your arrival time, I've dug into the list of hikes that me and my friends loved going to and I think it'll make a perfect group or date hikes:

Crawford Lake.
It has a First Nation museum for you to see get some historical learning. Beautiful forest that circles around a crystal clear lake, I once had a fish stare at me while I was taking a photo there. There's a boardwalk as well, so it's a great place for beginners.

Rattlepoint Snake.
Southern Ontario doesn't have a lot of elevated terrain, to find that you really have to go up north. I doubt your group is thinking of going that far, so this is more of generic walk but it's right next to Crawford Lake, and it has a beautiful elevated view at the peak.

Additional Idea.

If the cherry blossoms are still in bloom and things aren't in lock down by then, consider dropping by Kariya Park ( https://justinpluslauren.com/tourist-town-kariya-park/ ), it's one of the better kept secrets in the Japanese community here in Toronto. Most people flood High Park in downtown Toronto and for me I find it exceptionally grating, it's crowded and there's a lot of poor and unclassy behavior there with people pulling on branches and damaging the trees. So I've always gone to Kariya Park. It has the cherry blossoms in an authentic Japanese garden and peace and quiet. It's not huge, but it has the vibe in spades.

Have a great time here, and welcome to Canada. :D
